You can define Tajweed as Proper and correct pronunciation of Quranic alphabets and articulation of Quranic letter from its correct point of articulation and duly pronouncing it according to its characteristics. Tajweed and its application can only be learned with a qualified Quran teacher. The rules themselves can be studied independently, but the correct application and proper pronunciation of the alphabets of Quran can only be done by reading, listening and reciting under the supervision of a qualified Quran teacher.
